Microsoft for Mac, Who Knew It Was Possible?

For a long time, Apple and Microsoft was at odds with one another, not because their products were competing with each other, but because of their owners trying to show off who is the biggest guy in silicon valley. For a long time Apple created hardware like the Mac and because of its pioneering design and functions it became the standard for PC’s at that time. However the only thing Apple was not able to do is to create software as good as Microsoft’s publishing software Office.

When Microsoft launched its Office software, everybody was using it, and Mac users were left in the dark with sub standard software. For years Mac users have clamored for the two innovators to collaborate and create an Office version for the Mac. After years of back and forth the two companies finally agreed to create such software, Office for the Mac. Now it is one of the best selling and most used software for the Mac. Because of the familiar format of Office in the excellent hardware of Apple it is the best deal out there.

I am personally a Mac user and I have enjoyed the combination of this two products.  We all know that the majority of the world uses Office and being a Mac user it frustrates me that I cannot just plug and play the desktop publishing format of Apple to other computers. So once the product came out I was the first ones who stood in line to get one.

I was not disappointed, Microsoft even bent to Apples will to design the logo for MS so that it will conform to the rest of the design principle of Steve. This only shows how much these two companies can really do if they want to. Now I only order the software online at Software Speedy.
